Now that Android KitKat and officially roll out to the Nexus devices starts the big wait for the other Android Devices. Which devices will receive the update? We know at least that the Huawei Ascend P6 belongs in the list.
Huawei Ascend P6
The Huawei Ascend P6 is the flagship of this relative newcomer to the smartphone market in the Netherlands and Belgium. The company been around for years in this industry but brings recently appliances under its own name. Last summer, Huawei showed the world acquainted with the Huawei Ascend P6, a device which only 6.18 mm thick and very nice looking. The device has a chipset manufactured by the company itself namely a 1.5GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 and the device runs on Android 4.2.
Android 4.4 KitKat
The head of Huawei Device, Yu Cheng Dong, has announced that the Huawei Ascend P6 get an update to Android Sat KitKat end of January 2014. via some blogs Huawei likely than the update to Android 4.3 skip and go straight to version 4.4. The new version will again bear the Emotion UI 2.0 skin. Naturally Source article adds to it that probably only China in January the update to Android 4.4 will get KitKat and the rest of the world must wait.
