60 percent of Android devices on Jelly Bean - Nutech

Nearly four out of five Android devices running on Android 4.0 or higher. More than 60 percent of all devices running on Android 4.1 to 4.3 (Jelly Bean).

according to new figures that Google released Wednesday. The figures are based on the number of devices that uses the Google Play store in the seven days prior to February 4.

compared with a month earlier, the differences are small. Jellybean grew 1.5 percentage points, while the use of Gingerbread (version 2.3) and Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) slightly decreased.

Android Kitkat (4.4), the latest version of the operating system is on only 1.8 percent of all units. The version is only available on Nexus phones and tablets.
