Meerkat get a full Android app. That leaves the team behind the livestream application to know Android Planet . Meerkat is already one of the most talked about apps of 2015, but as yet there is only download an app for Apple’s iOS.
Meerkat allows users a snap to set up a live video stream and a link to the stream share via Twitter. The livestream itself goes completely through the Twitter system. As a result, nothing is stored on the Meerkat servers. The downside is that people no stream can look back once it is over.
Android users who can not wait for the official app, can now already download an “unofficial” version. In that app, it is possible to access live streams, but not to emit. It is not clear when the official app comes to Android.
