Sony has today officially started rolling out its long-awaited Android 5.0 update to Lollipop Sony Xperia Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact. Dutch users of both devices receive the update within two to three weeks.
Sony announced today that the company has officially started rolling out the long awaited Android 5.0 update for Lollipop Sony Xperia Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact. The rollout of the update began today in Scandinavia and the Baltics. Sony indicates that the update will be available worldwide within two to three weeks and that the update also can be expected in the Netherlands within this time frame.
Sony Xperia Z3 will receive Android 5.0 update Lollipop
The update for the Sony Xperia and Xperia Z3 Z3 Compact will include the fresh new material design interface of Android 5.0 Lollipop for both devices. In addition, Sony has updated the lock screen and lock screen directly the information that the user wants to see.

The Xperia S devices in 2013, including the Sony Xperia S, Xperia Tablet S, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 compact Xperia Z Ultra, get later this year offered an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is currently not known when this update will actually become available
