Two years ago, HP was still convinced of the success of webOS, the operating system where the HP TouchPad tablet turned on. Yet the end of 2011 showed that webOS, and in particular the hardware that the company should be connected, was not what was expected and thus put HP in full on Windows 8. In recent months, the company also various Windows 8 products marketed. However, HP also sees potential in Android and launched early this year, the 7 inch HP Slate 7 in the budget segment. It does probably not because this week are evidence of a 10 inch Android tablet from the American manufacturer.
HP Slate Book 10 x2
benchmark results has surfaced about a tablet that goes under the name HP Slate Book 10 x2. If all the information in the database are correct AnTuTu this is a new 10.1 inch Android tablet from HP. The device would include feature Nvidia’s new quad-core Tegra 4 processor which has a clock speed of 1.8Ghz. Also, the tablet running on, at the time of writing, latest version of Android, Android. 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
Assuming that the benchmark results and associated data that would knock the HP Slate Book 10 x2 possibly the first Tegra 4 tablet on the market can be. HP seems however to have this honor because competition earlier this month also surfaced instructions for a Toshiba tablet which has a Tegra 4 processor features. It would be the first high-end Android tablet from HP, after having earlier budget Slate 7 and launched one of the first non-Nexus tablet with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Convertible or hybrid tablet
More information on the specifications or availability of the Slate Book x2 is not known, but if we look at the name we might conclude that this is one hybrid or convertible tablet. ‘Slate Book’ does namely suspect that all closed and can be opened and the designation ‘x2′ we know the HP Envy x2 on Windows 8 running and has a detachable display.
For now we have some patience because it is not clear when this tablet will be.
