Huawei is working on an Android smartphone that makes a serious bid for the title of world’s slimmest smartphone. This appears from photos that have surfaced.

The photos were published on the website of the Chinese watchdog for wireless technologies, TENAA. This body feels the wireless features of devices to the test before they are admitted.
on the marketAccording to the data on the website TENAA the device is 6.2 millimeters thick, which makes the device a shot at the title of world’s slimmest smartphone. The current slimmest smartphones come from Alcatel and Vivo, and have a thickness of about 6.5 millimeters.
No budget unit
Unlike the current record holders seems Huaweis phone no budget model. The P6-U06, the code name under which the device is called, would feature a 4.7-inch display with 720p resolution and a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor.
Furthermore, the device will feature an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a front camera with a remarkably high resolution of 5 megapixels. The 120 gram smartphone will run on Android 4.1.2 and has two SIM card slots available.
China
The fact that the smartphone yet only has surfaced on the website of the Chinese authority TENAA may indicate that the device is destined for the Chinese market. When the mobile phone has to come on the market is not yet known.
