Sony launches 'bare' for Android Xperia S - Techzine

Hardware Manufacturer Sony has a bald version of Android for Xperia S released. The raw software for the Xperia S is part of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), specifically intended for developers.

Virtually every manufacturer now has its own set of adjustments on the popular Android operating system. Brands try so distinct, often with unnecessary bloatware due, to the annoyance of the user and developers.

Sony brings under AOSP software for the Xperia S with the clean version of Android. Earlier Sony did this already in a previous flagship, the Xperia S, which apparently is good birth.

The bare software is designed to help developers and emphatically not suitable for the average user. Namely the open source version does not support some proprietary drivers. Sony is said to develop.
