The developer preview of Android Nougat 7.1.2 will bring not only incremental improvements, and so it proved today. The LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P have now also namely to the so-called Moves.
Android Nougat 7.2.1
Two days ago, Google announced that a new update for Android Nougat rolled out will be go. It goes to the owners of the Google Pixel, Pixel XL and the LG Nexus 5X that participate in the Android Beta program. It is expected that the developer preview very soon its way to the Huawei Nexus 6P. The search giant calls it self an "incremental onderhoudsupdate focused on the polishing of the software." A small disappointment for fans that new features had hoped for.
Moves
however, Don’t worry. According to owners of the LG Nexus 5X there is suddenly an interesting new setting popped up in the Android Nougat: Moves. Which name will you be known for. That are namely, the fingerprint-movements that Google introduced the Pixel, and Pixel XL. By certain movements to make with your finger on your vingerprintscanner you can, for example, you notificatiecentrum open it, or quickly take a picture.
Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X
at the Time, complained Android fans about the disappointing fact that the new function is not available on the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X. Both devices have the exact same vingerprintscanners if the Pixel flagships. It took a while, but Android 7.1.2 there is, apparently, to bring about change. The included screenshot shows all the Moves where you as a user can choose from. The final version of Android Nougat 7.1.2 is somewhere in the next few months to be rolled out.
