“Google brings Launcher Shortcuts to the Android – It

Android Police suggests that Google is the Launcher pro Shortcuts to the next version of Android will bring. The website discovered that the code for this in Android 7.1, and speculates that the feature may be to the new Nexus phones, the Pixel and Pixel XL,.

Previously sat on the Launcher Shortcut functionality in a trial version of Android Nougat, but that was removed because it has not yet worked well. Now it seems Google is ready for it to be to the to its mobile operating system.

The Launcher Shortcut works much the same as Apple’s Force Touch features work. It must be a user with a little more force on the screen to a minimenu with shortcuts to most commonly used or suggested features. It would be the use of smartphone apps to something more intuitive.

Yet it is not completely known how the function within Android need to go to work. It is still far from certain that Google has the same touch screen as Apple has developed. It would in any case not a smart move of Google to function in this same way to make it work. More logical would be if Google is completely focused on a software solution that nauwekeurig the Launcher Shortcuts know by measurement that can determine how hard a icon is pressed.

It is not clear yet which apps take the feature to work. Beyond question, of course, is that the apps are from Google itself, the functionality support. In the test version of Android 7.1 discovered Android Police that includes Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Docs, the function support.

It is now waiting for the moment that Google are presenting. On 4 October, is an event scheduled, which is expected to be the Pixel, and Pixel XL introduces. That announcement goes hand in hand with the unveiling of Android 7.1 and presumably this new feature.
