Lenovo Yoga Book with Android or Windows officially presented – Tablets Magazine

This afternoon we did it all tonight but Lenovo has officially Yoga Book was revealed. This separate device has a touch keyboard which can be drawn. A tablet, drawing or typtablet, we can also call.

Yoga Book, according to Lenovo’s thinnest and lightweight 2-in-tablet world and is designed for productivity on-the-go. Entertainment and productivity in a single device. The tablet has been given the shape of a book and where we normally find the keyboard we seen a black touch surface. This, a virtual keyboard may be displayed or you can draw or write on. It is also supplied with a stylus, including three tips (points); a draw or write on the touch flat, to navigate on the touch display and writing for a literally a notebook lying on the black touch surface. The latter therefore makes it possible to write on this paper, and then back to see directly also on the screen. The pen never needs to be recharged, features 2,038 levels of pressure and you can see the tip of the normal pen replaced by any other pen tip.

The keyboard is virtual and recall. The keys have white edges but not really touching the key. The device vibrates light at a touch, what do you feel like you hit keys. The keyboard comes with learning functions and can therefore predict words and adapt to the user. Under the keyboard also displays a virtual mouse surface.

Yoga Book is close 9.6mm thin and weighs 690 grams, making him easy it makes to wear. The housing is made of a combination of magnesium and aluminum. The screen is 360 degree turn making you whole in various positions – as a tablet, and laptop and everything in between – can use. The device has a 15-hour battery life and comes with a 10.1-inch screen with full HD resolution. Under the hood we find an Intel Atom processor x5 back, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage memory. The Yoga Book comes with an 8 megapixel and a 2 megapixel camera, a USB port and an HDMI port.

Pricing and availability

the Lenovo Yoga Book Android comes in a ‘Gold’ and ‘gunmetal’ finish on the market. The Windows version only will receive a Carbon Black finish. The Android version will cost 499 euros, the Windows version is 100 euros more expensive. With 4G LTE Mobile Internet should be added additional 100 euros for both. Both versions must be in October in the Dutch stores.
