It will come as no surprise that Pokémon GO to the end of the year in my list of favorite apps. Apart from the impact the game has had (you can read more about in the list of best Android games of 2016), this was without doubt my most played game and most used app this year. Perhaps the game is not as complex as you would hope, but Pokémon GO makes the world become a bit more fun.
This is not a new app, but one that I this year have discovered, and I’m very happy with it. Next to that you your body healthy, it is also very good to your head to give some attention. By using this app I realized how little I did, but also how useful this can be.
I’m crazy about gifs, so if you have them in an easy way can make it is absolutely beautiful. You use the camera of your smartphone for a short recording, adds some filters and images and you are exporting before you know it, a fun gif that you can easily upload. Much more, the app is not necessary.
I’ve always been fond on Instagram. When the app first came out, I was very happy that my smartphone could use it to take beautiful photos. Suddenly disappeared the expensive camera of my wish list. Card game Hearthstone was already in 2014 for Android released, but I only really discovered. There are also quite some hours in the game put in fact, Hearthstone is the game I this year, by far, most have played. Especially cool is that it is a real strategy game, in which you need to have a good think about your choices, and you make a wrong decision directly see the consequences. Also nice is that developer Blizzard, the game continues to expand, and after a few months, a new set of cards to play with. Recommended!
Game publisher Ubisoft celebrated this year its 30th anniversary and brought, therefore, the original Rayman for Android and iOS. The game is pretty old, but looks on smartphones is still pretty and is very fun to play, especially if you like the game used to be on the old consoles I have played. Small drawback is the control scheme, which is due to the virtual joystick is not always working well. This is sometimes frustrating, since Rayman Classic is a spirited game where you have to be careful and just need to be timed.
This year there appeared a new alternative to the official Twitter app: Flamingo. The application looks not only brighter, but is also fully customizable with many different themes and colors. Also is the app chock full of features. Thus, there is a 3D Touch-like option: tap on a profile and keep your finger on the screen, then you get a small preview. Also is there a night mode available and there are a lot of settings to play with.
