Google put on all the fronts heavily in virtual reality. The latest development is the support of virtual reality elements in web sites in the Android version of Google Chrome.
WebVR is a proposed standard for virtual reality content on the web. The standard is still in development, but Firefox and Samsung have, in addition to Google, committed to use in their browsers. It was already possible to WebVR to see in the Android version of Google Chrome, but it worked via a detour. From Chrome for Android 56 will WebVR support is standard and Google indicates that in Chrome, 57 performance improvements will be done.
WebVR support in Chrome for Android, can virtual reality-sites make use of the input – and output capacity of, for example, the Daydream View. In addition, there is also support for a new extension of the gamepad possibilities, making it possible for the motion controller of the Daydream View to use.
