Screen cast to Chromecast now for all Android devices – Nutech

Google has updated the official Chromecast app making it possible for Android users to cast their screen to the HDMI stick and show on TV.

The update for the Chromecast app is slowly being rolled out in Google Play. The cast function is only available for devices with Android version 4.4.2 Kitkat and later.

The cast function is found in the menu of the app. Users can ‘cast screen’ button to cast their screen to the Chromecast. The function finds still in a beta phase which is in Google still errors may occur.

By casting a screen it is possible to stream images from your smartphone or tablet to the TV. This is useful for viewing videos and photos from an Android device to the TV
