The Android version of the YouTube app has been given a new look. The appearance of the video service now reflects the new design style of Android Lollipop.
This is the first time in a year that it is adapted by Youtube. The so-called “material design” was rolled out during the past few months to several Google applications, and ultimately have to be all Google services equipped with the new, flat design.
In addition, the search Youtube for Android has been updated. It is now also possible to filter search results within the app, for example length, quality, upload date, and so on.
The new version of YouTube is available for free in the Play Store. The update will be made available over the next few days to all users.
