Video Founder Adam Ely of security Bluebox says his researchers found

the notorious APK Android leak by accident.

exploit that 99 percent of all Androids would make vulnerable noted in February by accident during a night hackaton. Researchers from the team were busy making an integrity solution for Android when the ‘MOT Master Key’ was found. Soon resulted in the proof-of-concept.

Reporter Kerry Davis Webwerelds publisher IDG talks leading up to the Black Hat USA conference in Las Vegas with Bluebox-founder Adam Ely. His company does end this month that hackers conference the APK leak fully explained.

The exploit reportedly works as it can be. APK code (Application Package Files) of an Android application imperceptibly changed That means that the cryptographic signature that verifies whether an app is reliable, can be circumvented. Therefore Android think an infected application is safe and malware-free game.

As known

brought the security Google knows that the leak has been plugged. Nevertheless, experts fear that especially devices with older Android versions remain vulnerable.
