In some European countries the large 417MB Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One began its rollout. Earlier this week, the update has already been spotted in Taiwan.
This seems to go well, the 4G version of the HTC and the Android 4.2.2 update is currently only reported in Scandinavia. However, this makes it likely that it will not be long before Dutch HTC One owners also can work with Android 4.2.2.
update for HTC One brings – in addition to the improvements of Android 4.2.2 itself – some nice improvements with it. He will include an improved launcher bar, a new widget panel, a custom lock screen style with new widgets, improved function of the home button and the battery percentage in the status bar.
the update also ensures that the quick settings – the icons which functions quickly and can be switched off – and that is added to the Android camera app at various points is improved
.
If you have a so-called branded device from a specific provider, it may be some time before you can download the update; unbranded devices probably do not have long to wait
