News – Advertising for the storage of smartphones and tablets is inadequate. By the operating system and preinstalled apps is only half the advertised storage over for use.
Consumers want manufacturers of smartphones and tablets honestly advertise the available net storage that have those devices. Now is often half the storage space occupied by the operating system and preinstalled apps. That makes a fair comparison with the purchase of a device is not possible.
“With popular products like the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the Apple iPad is the 16GB storage space but just 60 percent of their own music, photos and apps,” says director Bart Combee of the Consumers. Smartphones with Windows on it to most of the storage space, the Consumer encountered. Then gives the iPhone the most storage space available. Android phones come with least favorable from the test.
Google Nexus 4 and Samsung Galaxy S4 show that large differences there are between Android phones, says the Consumers. Google provides a bare system, Samsung will stop the phone packed with custom icons, backgrounds and additional features. “This leaves the 16 GB of memory in the Google 13 GB on and the Samsung only 9 GB” writes the Consumer in the New Digital Guide.
