Google enhances rewards for reporting bugs in Android – NU.nl

Experts who can provide a comprehensive report on critical vulnerabilities in Android, get 50 percent more from Google. This was announced by the tech company in a blog post.

A year ago, Google started paying leak detectors. Since then Google has $ 550,000 (about 490,000 euros) paid to 82 people for identifying vulnerabilities.

The principal investigator that detects leaks Google has $ 75.750 earned by making 26 reports about vulnerabilities. Fifteen other researchers were paid each $ 10,000 or more.
