Google introduced Android 6.0 Doze as part of Marshmallow. If your device is not in use, it goes after about 20-30 minutes in an extra deep sleep. This is based on the idea to conserve the battery.
Once Doze is turned synchronize many apps no longer the Internet, so you no longer receives notifications. Only when you pick up your phone again in the apps ‘wake up’ and there are a lot of e-mails or instant messages retrieved at once.
Battery Optimization
Doze is not just from switch. However, what you can do is make your favorite apps exception to the rule-Doze. Therefore, go to Settings & gt; Battery and press the balls in the right corner. Choose Battery Optimization .
In the drop-down menu for All Applications and scroll to the apps which messages arrive late – for example WhatsApp. Tap on it and then select ‘ Optimize . This should solve the problem.
