Motorola has begun providing its popular smart watch to the latest version of Android Wear. The update will include support for WiFi connections, so you smart watch less dependent on your smartphone.
Android 5.1.1 for Android Wear
The update to Android 5.1.1 for Wear Android devices brings some new, useful features along with it. So get most smart watches beside Bluetooth also support WiFi, allowing the distance between the wearable and can be virtually unlimited smartphone to function properly. We also see new features such as scrolling through your wrist alerts by one turn and it is possible to use emoticons. Google also allows one specific app to show the foreground, instead of a watch face containing the actual messages.

Availability
The Moto 360 is the latest smart watch that receives the update to Android 5.1.1. Motorola had given some more time to have to make sure the performance is optimal for it.
The update for the Moto 360 has now begun, but will not be directly available for all devices. If all goes well will probably receive all Moto 360s the update within two weeks.
