Android M introduces dark icons in status bar for light backgrounds – Android World

Android M are many new small and most useful features added, a desired filtering for Android. Developers getting this Android version also the possibility to change the icons in the status bar of colors depending on the background.

For example, developers can specify that, if involved the status bar in the app and there a light background is used, which will change the color of the icons. In this way, they are more visible and thus useful. No shocking change in Android M, but there are plenty of apps that suffer these so the status is simply not read. With the option windowLightStatusBar “can be used from Android M.
