One of the coolest features that brings Android M, but still what is hidden, is Multi-Window. With this feature you can run multiple apps side by side, which makes multitasking much easier.
Multi-Window is hidden and not as stated in the standard use developer preview of Android M. Keep in mind that this is an experimental feature, so there is always the risk that crashing apps. For apps under by side, press the multitasking button to display your list of recently opened apps. Then tap the square that stands next to the cross, and choose how to be windows in Multi-Window display.
