blackberry-logo Recently, we reported that BlackBerry has plans to release smartphones that may not run on its own operating system BB10, but use Android. One of these new Android handsets would be the BlackBerry Venice that may be launched sometime in November. This high-end device, according to various rumors equipped with a 5.4-inch Quad-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) and a hexa-core Snapdragon 808-soc Qualcomm. But this rumor turns out according to other sources yet to be incorrect.

The generally well-informed N4BB claims that the BlackBerry Venice not run on Android, BlackBerry, and possibly as early as August comes with its own Android smartphone. It would be the BlackBerry Prague, a smartphone without high-end features. The Prague is said to be a low-end smartphone with a look that has many similarities with the BlackBerry Z3, affordable BlackBerry smartphone that was released last year

According to the sources of the site works BlackBerry currently not have an Android smartphone with a sliding keyboard, as Reuters earlier this month brought out . It is also unclear how the appearance of the Android operating system will come out to see a BlackBery smartphone. Perhaps the company has a BB10 interface development for Android, so that the product continues to similarities with the current BlackBerry devices.

BlackBerry would Prague in August this year to launch a few months before the arrival of the Venice BlackBerry smartphone with sliding keyboard, although the schedule may still change. There were also rumors that BlackBerry would work on two Android devices, but at the moment the site only has received confirmation of the Prague, although that does not necessarily mean that there exists no second BlackBerry smartphone with Android.

Despite the probable arrival of a BlackBerry smartphone with Android, the company continues to support its own BlackBerry operating system just because OS 10.3.3 has just been announced
