IF by IFTTT for Android has been given a new channel. The so-called Android Battery Channel gives you the ability to automate business around the battery of your Android. In this tip, let’s see how that works.
IF IFTTT is by far the best app to automate all kinds of things with and around your smartphone. The application includes many features, uncluttered looks and is free to use. That makes IF by IFTTT very popular; not for nothing that the app is installed on millions of Android devices.
IF by IFTTT calls the android functions that automates ‘recipes’ which are grouped into channels. Since yesterday there is a new channel, called the Android Battery Channel, available. This allows you to automate certain issues surrounding the battery of your Android device. This includes the option to automatically turn off WiFi when you still have limited battery or keep the battery consumption in Google Drive. How do you set the Android Battery Channel and used, we explain below.
- Download and install IF by IFTTT from Google Play and make – if you do not have one – an account;
- Open the app and tap on the icon top right to open the settings, then choose for ‘Channels’ Then you see all available channels.. IF by IFTTT appear on the top right “Android Battery ‘Tap and press’ Connect’ to connect the function.
- Once you’re connected to the Android Battery channel you can use the accompanying recipes. Please enter it manually by tapping the app on the plus sign. They can also be found on this page and activate
