The new feature, called Touch to Search, will be rolled out to the stable Chrome version for Android.
The browser sends the selected text into the Google search engine and the search results are displayed in a separate window. This screen allows users to swipe up from the bottom to see more results.
It is also possible to print on results from the new screen. These websites then be opened in a new Chrome tab.
Touch to Search has something of the new Google Now on Tap. This feature of the upcoming Android version M, users can just tap on the home button to instantly see details about onderp on the screen, such as information about a movie or artist
