Google took on startup to make Android faster - Nutech

Google would in 2012 the French startup Flexycore have taken, for an amount of 16.9 million euros.

This reports the French L’Expansion.

Flexycore worked for smartphone manufacturers and telecom providers, but also designed apps, such Droidbooster. It specialized in optimizing Android.

Google would reportedly have paid 16.9 million euros to buy the company. The team would already integrated into Google’s Android team.

Google confirmed the acquisition and suggests that Flexycore well with the Android team fits, given Flexycore’s experience in writing software to run.
