Asus will release a cheap Android tablet and an Android-Wear smart watch on the market. The company also unveiled Wednesday two new laptops.
The products were shown during a press conference prior to techbeurs IFA in Berlin.
Zenwatch runs on Android Wear, the besturingssysteemvan Google for smart watches, and has a square screen. The display is 1.63 inches and has a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, similar to the size and resolution of the Gear Live from Samsung.
The screen is slightly curved and made of Gorilla Glass. The clockwork is made of silver stainless steel and a leather wrist strap included.

Specifications
watch also features a 400 Snapdragon processor 1.2 GHz, as with the G Watch from LG. The memory comes out at 512 MB and the battery has a capacity of 396 mAh which is pretty much for a smart watch.
Asus states in the press release that Zenwatch lasts for at least a day. Also, the watch features a heart rate monitor and motion sensors. Asus has a separate application called Wellness App for reading. Sporting out
Zenwatch is also waterproof, so in the rain just use. The watch can be linked to Android phones running Android 4.3 or higher. The company put the Zenwatch also as a remote control of the phone. Thus it is possible to do with the smartphone photos from the watch and can be an unlocked phone.
The watch is 199 Euros, but it is still unclear when the Zenwatch corresponds exactly to the Netherlands.

Android tablet
Asus also showed the Memo Pad 7, a new 7-inch tablet that runs on Android. The tablet weighs 269 grams, is 8.3 millimeters thick and measure further 114.4 to 200 mm. Thus, the dimensions similar to the Nexus 7 that Asus made by Google last year. The Memo Pad 7 there seems to be a kind of successor.
In terms of design, the new tablet, however, much more angular and the back has a different look. The Memo Pad 7 is from late September sold for 199 euros.
It is under the hood a quad-core Intel Moorefield Z3560 chip to be found. The resolution of the screen opens up to 1920 x 1200 pixels (Full HD) and results in a decent pixel density of 323 ppi.
Using special coatings Asus promises less reflection and fingerprints. The back camera has 5 megapixels, and the version on the front 2 megapixel.

Laptops
Finally, Asus presented two laptops. The EeeBook Z205 is an affordable 11.6-inch laptop from 199 euro that runs on Windows 8.1. The screen does have only a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels so the pixel density remains stabbing at 135 pixels per inch.
The memory is 2 GB and there are two USB 2.0 ports and a microSD slot present. The battery should go along with browsing twelve hours and the laptop weighs 980 grams. The dimensions come down to 286 x 193.3 x 17.5 millimeters.
The Zenbook UX305 is a so-called ultrabook which according to Asus the thinnest 13.3 inch laptop with a QHD resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. The Zenbook is 12.3 millimeters thick. The laptop weighs 1.2 pounds and is about a not further specified Intel Core M processor. In addition, the Zenbook an SSD of 256 GB. A price and launch date were not disclosed.
