Android Wear

Current smart watches and other wearables run on the first version of Android Wear. Wear is a customized version of Android, specifically for devices that you wear on your body. Think, for example, smart watches and fitness trackers. The normal version of Android is not really there for, because with this kind of portable devices have more limited than for a smartphone or tablet: if you have a small screen and you often have a very limited battery life. The operation must be on a smaller device, for example, that you wear on your wrist, so different. On Android Wear is (at least temporarily) chose to operate through drag movements (swipe) and voice input to do so.

Wear Android 2.0

According to Android Police, the new version of Wear will be rolled go from October 15 via OTA updates (Over The Air). What exactly is adapted to version 2.0 is not yet officially announced, but we assume additive for GPS and Bluetooth headset capabilities. Also, there will be many bugs squashed and the website also reports that new features will be available here but do not explicitly off. First, there is expected to wear devices that should bring improvements to the navigation and voice commands. Another update Google has previously said to give to so provide more functionality.

Whether the OTA update of Android Wear from October 15 will actually roll out this platform often updates remains to be seen, but it would fit nicely with the already available and recently presented Android Wear-watches
