Blendle update brings digital newsstand for Android – Android World

Blendle is a new type of digital kiosk on Dutch soil. You pay for the service is not (necessarily) a magazine or newspaper, but every article. So you can shop for items that interests you. The problem with the Android version of this “digital kiosk” was that the kiosk area was missing. Until today.

Kiosk in Blendle

With the new kiosk mode can be available through the newspapers and magazines on Blendle leaves. The ‘order’ of an article is straightforward. It works just as before the articles compiled by the editors: A press on the title or image is enough to access the article. This may prevent you buy an item by accident, but through the article quickly closing the money is automatically credited to your account. Also, it is still possible to ask for your money back if the item you post do not like good.

The kiosk mode is not finished yet. You can only looking at the latest editions of the available magazines. If you want to view older editions, you’ll have to do that via the web version of Blendle.

Availability

The update for Blendle that adds the kiosk function, is now found in the Google Play store. Initially the app could be downloaded only for 24 hours, but it seems now available to everyone. The application still is still in beta and, as you can read above, the app is not yet complete. When you create an account for Blendle, you get € 2.50 reading good to try out the app and website.
