Samsung launched Android 6.0 beta test for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge – TechTastic

There were earlier rumors that even the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge Galaxy and Galaxy S6 + Edge would still want to update this month to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but we can through this planning or draw a line. It makes it clear that Samsung is only a beta version of the Android 6.0 software is going to release to the users of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Samsung however has never been an official date outward when his Galaxy S6 series will update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, nevertheless takes the wait especially compared to competing high-end smartphones already very long. Recently, there is a roadmap published when it was clear that the Galaxy S6 series in December could be updated, but another roadmap suggested again that the update is only planned for the first quarter of 2016. There remains therefore much doubt about the expected release date of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge +.

The good news is that Samsung is currently looking for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update want to test. Unfortunately, there is bad news, because so far only users from South Korea to participate in the test, they will receive the update in the coming weeks.

Samsung hopes the software of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge to improve by listening to feedback from its users. The program runs until January 18, 2016 and which probably also means that the Android 6.0 update for the other users will appear no earlier. Users of the Galaxy S6 + Edge can not participate in the beta .
