Rumor: Google launches Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch in early 2017 – DutchCowboys

Mega-nice Evan Blass has a scoopje. According to him, it is wise to wait a while if you’re in the market for a new smartwatch that is not from Apple is coming. Google is, according to him, namely, to plan for the beginning of 2017 its own smartwatch to launch Android Wear 2.0, which already has a while in development, and also at the beginning of next year to be ready for public consumption.

The rumors that Google is its own wearables on the make would have to go longer around, of course. To be precise, since this summer, when the stories about the size and shape of the watches with code names ‘Angelfish’ and ‘Swordfish’ came out. The pictures below are actually not photos, but images of prototypes on the basis of information provided by an anonymous source to Android Police has been given.

Before we’re completely Sherlock to go on two Android smartwatch is it useful to reflect on the significance of this story. In addition to the Pixel phones (which Blass also already leaked), Google is a good get started to a whole own line in the market with the smart speaker Home, new Chromecast and Daydream VR headset.

With that new direction in which Google was on Apple’s approach and software and hardware closer together allows customers to customize their own smartwatch too. The rumor will so in all probability close enough to the truth that we are at the beginning of next year can count on these smart watches.
