The mobile operating system Android had in the third quarter of 2014, a market share of 84%. Absolutely leader so but a decrease from 85% in the previous quarter. Has Android reached its peak?
The decline could be attributed to the launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Apple has thus gained slightly compared to Android. Google does itself with a market share of 84% worry not really make. That’s because the absolute sales were up from 206 million to 268 million sets.
Of concern is the decline in Windows Phone. It works but not Microsoft to get a significant market share. Not even after the incorporation of Nokia.
