Motorola has started rolling out the Moto G Android 5.0 update. The update for the 2014 model is already limited available in the US and is expected to be available later in the rest of the world.
Moto G Android 5.0 update coming
Strangely enough the Moto G from 2014, the first Android smartphone that receives the update to Android Lollipop. The device has trumped anyway Nexus models, though at the time of writing, no Dutch or Belgian users have reported that they have received the Android 5.0 update. Possibly change this later today. The English release notes for the update are to have been read and give an impression of what it’s all new and improved.
The Moto G runs on a stock version of Android, which means that apart from Google -apps hardly any programs or features are added. This is very good for Android users who want to experience the purest form. The new Android version introduces the Material Design with a simpler and more responsive design, new animations and smooth transitions

Android Lollipop also leads to improved security, longer battery life, more sub-options, new quick settings and ART brings with it a whole new Android runtime, which improves the performance of apps and the interface more flexible work late.
Finally pleasant is that the Android 5.0 makes it easier for developers to manage files on the SD card. This function was severely limited by KitKat, but the upcoming Android version can apps access to the entire sd card. Read more about it in our Android 5.0 preview
Moto G (2014). Larger screen and better cameras
The new Motorola Moto G was unveiled last September, the same as its predecessor, name but a larger 5-inch screen with a 720p resolution. Also, the new smartphone front speakers that produce better sound.
For the rest, the hardware is mostly the same. There is again a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (Snapdragon 400) and 1GB of RAM on board. The storage memory is 8GB or 16GB and is expandable. Our extensive judgment read in the Moto G review and below you will find the best deals on the unit.
