With the round Moto 360 Motorola has the most popular Android Wear smart watch, but Samsung is the largest on the entire smart watch market. In the first quarter of 2014 the company had 23.3 percent of the market in hands, and were both Sony and Pebble greater. In the third quarter, however, Samsung 52 percent of the market, followed by Motorola with 15 percent and Pebble by 12 percent.

It is unclear how many of the Samsung smart watches are separately purchased by consumers, and how much supplied with a Samsung smartphone as part of an action. The company often sells its smartphones and watches together and provides for new smartphones sometimes wearables away.
