Advanced 2D and 3D graphics in Android get an upgrade with API level 21, now OpenGL ES 3.1 is supported natively and the Android Extension Pack is added. The new OpenGL Embedded Systems contains several rendering enhancements over its predecessor and the API works with different GPUs. Several Java interfaces are brought together in the Extension Pack for graphics features are supported even better.

Rival Knights Gameloft Android uses the Extension Pack and elements from ES 3.1 to to display more graphical details.

other apps

The new Android version media libraries from other apps appeal via the API android.media.browse. That content should be made available by the original app using the Media Browser Service class. The new API is going to be without duplicating existing elements integrating apps with each other via the same UI. In addition replaces the old class Media Session Remote Control Client and a uniform set of callback methods are provided.
