Research from Kantar Worldpanel now appears that in Europe one-third of iPhone buyers switched from an Android device. The research firm polled in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. These countries are seen as the largest European markets and thus be a nice gauge. The market share of Apple iOS rose in Europe for more than twenty percent. During the presentation of the first quarter results of 2015, Apple CEO Tim Cook already indicated that there are never many people switched to the iPhone. The switchers are mainly attracted by the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus says Kantar Worldpanel. Why is is impossible to say with certainty, but it seems that the larger screen of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus has ensured that Android users switched.
