Google’s Android One devices come to Europe. The Turkish General Mobile phone manufacturer launched Friday a 4G model with 5-inch screen

One is a generic name for low-cost devices running a stripped down version of Android which the manufacturer can only add a limited number of its own apps. Google warrants as a developer that the system will be provided at least two years of updates.
Google introduced the One program in September last year. The first Android One devices appeared in Asia. The phone will be launched Friday in Turkey is the first version with 4G on board. There is also a 720p display, a Snapdragon 410 processor, a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel variant on the front.
The 4G Android One unit of General Mobile will get a price tag of 699 Turkish lira (€ 235). It is not known whether the device will also be introduced in other European countries
