One Android now available in Turkey – Android World

Android One platform includes customized smartphones running on Android, including Google services, aimed at emerging markets. In Turkey is now to obtain the first Android-One device.

One Android Google is trying a new group of people to bond. By offering affordable smartphones with the capabilities of Android and there on top of that Google’s services, the search giant wants to tap new markets. The first Android One devices have been available for a while, but also in Turkey is the first Android One available

The manufacturer is, especially for Turkish standards, no stranger:. General Mobile. Now comes your name perhaps known for and that could very well be right. However, the price expectation is not immediately realized, fetches the unit € 233 (699 lira), which is substantially higher than the prices of € 75 where Google before it screened. The specifications are therefore better than the earlier versions in other markets. It is a 5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 4, a Snapdragon 410 (64 bit), 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel FrontCam. There is support for 4G and the device runs on Android 5.1.1 at launch.

General Mobile Android One

The initial launch of the first Android-One device in India had significantly lower specs: 4.5 inch (480×854) display, MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM and a 5 megapixel camera.

Android General Mobile One is from 15 May in Turkey and will be provided directly by Google updates.
