The Android version of Popcorn Time has today received an update that will not only solve bugs in the app, but also some new features with it. The new app is now available through the website Popcorn Time.

The new Popcorn Time app for Android has version 2.6.1 and let you watch movies offline cached subtitles. Furthermore, you can now specify in the app that you only want to stream and download via WiFi films and series. Additionally, you can download speeds in and upload setting, so you wifi connection also allows for something else to use when you look up something through Popcorn Time.

The update also ensures Popcorn Time is smoother on the Chromecast and movie posters are better in the app displayed. Finally, the institutions addressed and the app is translated into Turkish and Italian.

The team behind Popcorn Time incidentally, says a new beta version (2.7) to work these issues with Android lollipop dissolves and more new features Introduces. It should appear soon, but exactly when is not known yet.
