Many iPhone buyers come from Android – Telegraaf.nl

It seems that offering iPhones with bigger screens has paid off for Apple. European buyers of the iPhone 6 had fewer than one in three previously an Android device

.

Apple CEO Tim Cook boasted during the presentation of the latest quarterly figures all about the fact that in the past these years not so many switchers from Android went to the iPhone and since the introduction of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Now, according to figures from Kantar Worldpanel in Europe less than 33 percent of the new iPhones in the first quarter of 2015 by former Android users have been purchased.

This is among other things due to the fact that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus contain larger screens, formerly a reason for many people to just take an Android device. In addition, Apple has become much more aggressive in persuading Android fans to switch. Thus it offers in many countries money for old units when redeeming the device
