If you have a Nexus tablet or smartphone buying then you are almost certainly of Android updates, often up to two years after purchase. However, there are no guarantees, but there is possible with the advent of Android M change.

Last month, the first rumors surfaced about Android M , the latest version of the operating system during Google I / O on May 28 would be revealed. As the successor to Android Lollipop brings precisely is unclear but Google Nexus owners would at least like to give an update guarantee.

According to the sources of the usually well-informed Android Police wants new Google Nexus devices until two years after purchase includes system updates, in the form of new Android versions. Until three years after the release of an Android version or until at least 18 months after purchase in the Google Play Store (whichever comes first), security updates are guaranteed.

It seems so far that the update guarantees only apply to new Nexus devices. According to Android Police would Google Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) no Android update gain more and thus they remain officially stabbing Android 5.x Lollipop.
