HTC Android 4.4.3 update rolling out to HTC One – GSM Helpdesk Netherlands

By: Tim Wijkman – Users of the ‘old’ or ‘original’ HTC One (M7) can look into a major update to their smartphone in 2013 . HTC is in fact started in the first European countries to roll out its Android 4.4.3 Kitkat update to the device. The update is also expected to soon be available for Dutch users of the HTC One from 2013.

The first reports that HTC has started rolling out the Android 4.4.3 update Kitkat come from Slovakia and Romania. In both countries receive almost all HTC One smartphones the update. Also known as ‘branded’ versions of the device, the smart phones that are sold by a provider with a SIM and provider-specific software, received the update, suggesting that HTC update is available for all versions.

The update is approximately 550 MB and is offered ‘over the air’, which means that the update downloaded directly without using a computer on your smartphone and can be installed. Since the update is so big, is advised to download to avoid. High data usage over the cellular network, the update over a Wi-Fi connection

The update for the HTC One from 2013, not only one of the latest versions of Android to the device, as well as updates for many HTC apps, including the picture gallery, the camera application and synchronization manager.

To our knowledge, has not been in the update for the HTC One from 2013 Netherlands available, but is expected within days to weeks in the Netherlands ‘land’.
