A hundred million people use Opera browser for Android. That’s twice as much as a year ago.
This reports Opera Software Tuesday. The company has several browsers for Android.
Of Opera Mini is the most popular, followed by Opera for Android and Opera Max. The most popular variant is aimed at compressing the websites, so that less data is consumed. Opera Max does the same, but for online video and photos.
Opera presents not what the users of its browsers are concentrated. According to StatCounter Opera has a market share of 16.55 percent of the mobile market in Asia, while only 2 per cent in Europe. In Africa, even more than the popular Opera browser with more than 35 percent of the market
