Toshiba is working on second generation Excite Pure Android Tablet – Tablets Magazine

Toshiba lately frequently on our homepage to find but especially through the introduction of new Windows tablets. For example, the company recently launched the new Encore 2 tablets with Windows 8.1 software. In the field of Android Toshiba can not fail to impress, but may get there soon change with the second generation Excite tablets.

The Toshiba Excite tablets were presented last year at IFA 2013. The Excite series consists of three models; The 10.1-inch Excite Pure including a Tegra 3 processor and a resolution of 1,280 by 800 pixels, the 10.1-inch Excite Pro with a more powerful quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and a resolution of 2,560 by 1,600 pixels, and 10.1-inch Excite Write has the same high-end specifications but with an active digitizer stylus that signed and can be written. All models run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, have stereo speakers feature USB and HDMI ports and feature 16GB or 32GB of storage memory.

Excite tablets, however, could not really high expectations come true, as was also evident in our review of the Toshiba Excite Pure . The biggest downside of this model was very mediocre display. But perhaps learned from Toshiba for out documents from the WiFi Alliance, we can conclude that Toshiba is working on a second generation Excite Pure. The first generation went by the name AT10-A and the tablet mentioned in the documents named AT10-B. Also used for the second generation Encore tablets Toshiba the letter “B” in the model number.

Many we do not yet know about the Toshiba Excite Pure 2 The only thing we can get from the documents is that The tablet runs on Android 4.4 and features a KitKat WiFi a / b / g / n chip. In all likelihood, it raises again a 10.1-inch model. Toshiba is also present at IFA 2014 and the chances are that we learn during the fair on this model.
