Longer cooling for purchased Android Apps – PC World

Google has extended the grace period for purchased Android apps. Where once you had to decide whether an app was worth the money though, that time is now unofficially extended to 2 hours in 15 minutes.

This was discovered the site Android Police, though the way your money back asking not official.

Normal users could reclaim their money for an app that they had bought but it had to be done within 15 minutes. It was only through a dedicated page for apps purchased.



Play Store

Android Police, however, found that the maximum time to ask for money back is extended up to two hours, provided users do that somewhere else. If you need a longer grace period, you can go to the Play Store, the app itself. There you up to 2 hours to reclaim your money.

Unofficially

Google would not officially promote the function, so it is unclear whether it is a test functionality or that it really policy for Android .


Bad for developers

The 15 minute period has far too little for many users, especially in applications where you need more time to check whether it is worth your money. However, if Google decides to extend the waiting period could negatively for developers, who can lose lots of money. Note
