Android 5.0 update rolling out to OnePlus One – Android World

With a little over two weeks delay the Android rolls 5.0 Lollipop-update to OnePlus One-users via Over The Air update . The update should be rolled out for March 31, but that deadline was not met.

The OnePlus One is a device that is out-of-the-box runs on CyanogenMod 11S software based on Android 4.4 KitKat. Earlier it was announced there that the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop would be brought out in March. That deadline is not met, but Cyanogen had previously know a complete and excellent product to give back to pick instead of a deadline, where the software was not finished completely.

Now the update is rolling it out for users of the OnePlus One in the form of CyanogenMod 12. This OTA update comes within, or over the air, and thus directly be downloaded from the device and install. This software offers many changes in the look of the software that is used, the Material Design Google and themes can be used, both free and paid. The collaboration between Cyanogen and OnePlus One or ends, but software updates for the first OnePlus One were still part of the bargain.
