Android gets’ dev channel Google Chrome – Tweakers

Google sets the dev channel of Chrome on Android open to the public via the Play Store. It is the one-navroegste test version of Chrome for Android and allows developers to test their sites on this future release of Chrome

The dev -. version at least once a week update. The dev-version can be downloaded from the Play Store. This version should not be confused with the beta version, which is already longer in the Play Store. Developer versions were already available for Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS. The Canary release, the earliest test version of Chrome is not yet available for Android.

Google warns on its Chromium blog that “life on the Dev channel sometimes wild can be ‘ . The dev version of Chrome for Android can also be installed alongside other Chrome versions. The version can be used by developers to check whether sites are compatible with future versions of Chrome. Also new features in future versions of Chrome can already be tested.

The eye provides the developer version little new functionality. What is new is the ability to block images on certain sites. Javascript and pop-ups were blocked for some time. The desktop version of Chrome has long been the possibility to block plug-ins; this functionality is not present in the test version of Chrome.
