ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME572) gets Android 5.0 – Android World

The ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME572) today received in the Netherlands update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. This ASUS tablet was launched last September in Berlin.

The ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME572) is, as the name suggests, 7 inch tablet with an interface that stays fairly close to standard Android. The device was unveiled at the IFA and has been given a suggested retail price of € 199. In our review of the AS US MeMO Pad 7 (ME572) , we have concluded that this is an interesting tablet if we look at the pricing look, but the design is pretty standard. Nevertheless, this tablet today in the Netherlands will receive the update to Android 5.0.

The update to Android 5.0 for the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME572) directly via WiFi download on the tablet. No data is lost during the update. It is striking that ASUS was always at the forefront of Android updates, but lately is very quiet around the updates from this manufacturer on Android region.
