The Japanese company announced the new TVs in January already, but now the prices and availability known. The company is one of the first who will offer TVs with the new Android TV. All new models can be ordered for immediate online and the first TVs are from May actually available.
Ultra HD
The cheapest ultra HD model with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels is 1499 euros. Bravia X83C has a 49 inch screen, a new thin design and a special ultra HD processor.
The X85C series is positioned just above the cheapest ultra high-definition TV and will be available in 75 inches ( 4999 euro), 65 inches (2999 euros) and 55 inches (1999 euros). All TVs run on Android TV, the new operating system from Google specifically for televisions.
Full HD TVs
Sony brings new full HD TVs on the market. There will be a full HD version of the 65-inch TV W85C for 1999 euros and Sony also has the Bravia W80C line. Which consists of a 43 inch model vor 899 euros and a 50-inch model for 1099 euros. The W75C of 43 and 50 inches respectively cost 869 and 1049 euros.
Even though these TVs run on Android TV, but so have a lower resolution and not have several imaging technologies from Sony as Triluminos Display and X tended Dynamic Range. These techniques provide respectively for more natural colors and a higher dynamic range.
Cheapest line
The W70C is the cheapest line of Sony. The TVs have a Full HD screen, but no Android TV and 200Mhz refresh instead of 800 MHz. There will be 32-inch models are available for 599 euros, 699 euros for 40 inch and 48 inch for 849 euros.
Samsung made recently prices for new TVs announced. The South Korean manufacturer sells this year, an ultra high-definition 40-inch TV for $ 999.
