In improving the Android version of the iOS version of Outlook was the checkpoint, reports Microsoft .
Outlook for Android appeared in January and in preview version. The iOS version appeared as a slightly modified version of Acompli. That mail app was acquired by Microsoft in December 2014.
An Android version of the app, however, there was not. Which in recent months under a preview label built by Microsoft.
Seventeen updates later Microsoft says they are satisfied with the app. Especially the stability and speed of the app was taking over the service of interest, as well as the localization of Outlook.
